From karting to GT4
Ragnar Simuland is an Estonian circuit racing driver focused on building a professional career in GT racing within a manufacturer environment. His progression in motorsport has been rapid, structured and consistently performance-driven.
After starting in karting with Aero Racing and Talvar Racing, Ragnar moved to circuit racing in 2024 with RS Parts. In his debut season in cars, he won both the Estonian and Baltic championships in the V1600 class with a Toyota Yaris T-Sport at the age of 16.
In 2025, he took the next step into the highly competitive BMW 325 Cup class of the Baltic Touring Car Championship with RS Motorsport. Competing against more than 30 drivers, he secured five podium finishes in six rounds, including five pole positions, multiple fastest laps and track records, and secured the Baltic, Estonian and Latvian championship titles.
Alongside racing, Ragnar studies Automotive Technology at Tallinn Industrial Education Center (TTHK), strengthening his technical understanding and enabling effective collaboration with engineers.
Recent GT4 testing in Europe confirmed his immediate pace and consistency on a new platform. In 2026, he steps up to Porsche Sports Cup Germany with Sorg Rennsport.
He has also been selected for the Porsche Talent Pool Germany programme for the 2026 season, adding an important manufacturer-supported development dimension to his racing career.
